Any changes to your team roster (including player pickup requests) must be on the Team Adjustment Form (TAF) from Ringette BC and submitted to krasweetheart@gmail.com by January 17, 2025. As this is a RBC sanctioned tournament, RBC must approve these changes in order for your adjusted roster to play at the Tournament. Should your team make any unapproved (RBC) changes to the roster during the tournament, it may mean that your team will FORFEIT that game, regardless of the game outcome.
For U12 teams, RBC requires that a team ordinal be provided and should you have to substitute players, an adjusted team ordinal must be provided. Any U12 tiered team from out of province will require special attention that the Ringette BC office can assist with.
The success of our tournament relies on the combination of dedicated volunteers and established partnerships with our sponsors. The Kelowna Sweetheart Tournament has a “Stay & Play” hotel policy. This means that all attendees in need of hotels are requested to book them through one of our sponsor hotels. This policy helps to ensure sufficient sponsorship is secured, while providing quality hotels at the best available rate. Our Sponsor Hotels will be listed shortly under our “Sweetheart - Hotel” tab on our website www.kelownaringette.com
In the event that the tournament is unable to proceed due to Provincial Health Orders, KRA will return the team fees less $100.00 to cover event merchandise that was purchased for players. We will connect with team managers to arrange for pickup or shipment of items.
