Interested in giving ringette a try?

Ringette Canada’s Come Try Ringette program gives you the opportunity to try out our sport for FREE!

Experience the exhilaration of this unique ice sport! Whether you're a complete beginner or already know how to skate, we welcome everyone to come try ringette. Children will be guided through the basics, from shooting and passing to skating techniques. Not only will you get to try a fast-paced and dynamic team sport, but you'll also have the chance to meet new friends and be a part of a vibrant and inclusive community.

FREE Come Try Ringette Camps

KRA will be participating in the City of Kelowna Recreation Family Day event on Monday, February 16, 2026 at MNP Place by hosting a FREE Come Try Ringette event! The day will be filled with activities for all families of all ages.

We will host the Come Try Event from 2:00 -3:00 pm on Rink 2. Anyone new to ringette who attends this event, will be entered into a draw to win 50% of a KRA registration for the 2026/27 season!

Please be sure to bring a helmet, gloves and skates. MNP Place will have skate rentals and we will have sticks to borrow if you don’t have your own.

*Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the ice time so equipment can be fitted properly.

Bring a Friend to see what Ringette is all about. Current KRA players are welcome to attend and bring a friend.
